CTAC Hubs

CTAC Hubs have been introduced across Scotland at government level, and means that many of the nurses who were previously based in individual practices are now working from the community hubs. A list of these hubs can be found below for your information, along with the services that are provided at the CTAC hubs.

The following services will now be offered through the community CTAC Hub –
Routine blood tests – this includes blood tests required for medication monitoring
Height & weight measurements
Blood pressure checks
Thyroid checks
Hypertension review
Chronic Kidney Disease review
Chronic Heart Disease review
Peripheral Vascular Disease
Diabetes checks – first appointment
Stroke review
Ear syringing (only if you have hearing aids or have been referred to audiology)
Suture and staple removal
Basic wound care
PICC line care
